Virtual University is one
of the top priority projects
of the Ministry of Science
and Technology that participates
as a key contributor to
the socio-economic development
of Pakistan. NTS conducted
a customized admission test
for Virtual University in
August 2002. This test was
conducted simultaneously
in 136 test centers spread
over 51 cities and towns
in the country. All the
activities including paper
generation, printing, distribution
of papers, supervision of
invigilation, recovery of
papers, marking and result
preparation was managed
by NTS. A total of 4420
candidates appeared for
the test of VU. Rector Virtual
University reposed its complete
trust in the authenticity
and credibility of NTS’
testing for the university
and appreciated its efforts.
Attaining
this milestone has been
a major achievement of NTS
as it can be safely claimed
that conducting a standardized
test in 136 centers situated
in 51 cities and towns,
simultaneously, must be
unprecedented in Pakistan.
